Fedor Frešo was a Slovak bassist known for his work in rock and jazz genres. He collaborated with several notable bands, including The Soulmen, Prúdy, Collegium Musicum, Blue Effect, and Fermata. His significant recordings include the album "Zvonky, zvoňte" with Prúdy and "Konvergencie" with Collegium Musicum. He worked with artists such as Pavol Hammel, Marián Varga, Peter Lipa, and Radim Hladík. In addition to his musical career, he served as a music director at Czechoslovak Radio and the OPUS record label. In 2011, he published his autobiography "Sideman".
