fIREHOSE was an American alternative rock band formed in 1986 in San Pedro, California. The lineup consisted of Mike Watt (bass, vocals), Ed Crawford (guitar, vocals), and George Hurley (drums). They released five studio albums, including "Ragin', Full On" (1986) and "Flyin' the Flannel" (1991). Their music blended elements of punk, post-punk, and alternative rock. fIREHOSE disbanded in 1994 but briefly reunited in 2012 for a tour and released the compilation "lowFLOWs: The Columbia Anthology ('91–'93)."
