Flamin' Groovies is an American rock band formed in San Francisco in 1965, originally led by Roy Loney and Cyril Jordan. After Loney's departure in 1971, the band shifted towards power pop, with Jordan and new member Chris Wilson taking the helm. Their most notable albums include "Shake Some Action" (1976), "Flamin' Groovies Now" (1978), and "Jumpin' in the Night" (1979). The band is recognized for its contribution to the development of power pop and is considered a forerunner of punk rock.
