Flash was an English progressive rock band formed in 1971 by former Yes guitarist Peter Banks, vocalist Colin Carter, bassist Ray Bennett, and drummer Mike Hough. The band released three studio albums: "Flash" (1972), "In the Can" (1972), and "Out of Our Hands" (1973). Their debut single, "Small Beginnings," reached number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Flash's musical style was characterized by complex arrangements and virtuosic instrumental performances, positioning them as notable figures in the 1970s progressive rock scene.
