Flor Peeters was a Belgian composer, organist, and pedagogue born in Tielen, Belgium. He served as director of the Conservatory in Antwerp and as organist at Mechelen Cathedral from 1923 until his death in 1986. His oeuvre includes over 100 works, primarily for organ and choir, including the well-known "Entrata Festiva" (opus 93). Peeters studied Renaissance music, particularly Flemish polyphony, and incorporated techniques such as polyrhythms and polytonality into his compositions.
