Foghat is an English rock band formed in London in 1971. Original members Dave Peverett, Tony Stevens, and Roger Earl previously played in the band Savoy Brown. The group is known for its use of electric slide guitar, with their best-known song being the 1975 hit "Slow Ride." Throughout their career, they have released 17 studio albums, eight of which achieved gold status and one platinum; their live album "Foghat Live" attained double platinum certification.
