Foscor is a Catalan metal band from Barcelona, formed in 1997. Their name means "darkness" in Catalan. The band began with classic black metal on albums "Entrance to the Shadows' Village" (2004) and "The Smile of the Sad Ones" (2007). Later, their sound evolved towards progressive and avant-garde metal, evident in "Groans to the Guilty" (2009) and "Those Horrors Wither" (2014). In 2017, they released "Les Irreals Visions," continuing their experimental approach to metal. The band is known for their melancholic and atmospheric compositions, often featuring lyrics in Catalan.
