Fountains of Wayne is an American rock band formed in New York City in 1995. The original lineup consisted of Chris Collingwood and Adam Schlesinger, later joined by Jody Porter and Brian Young. The band is best known for the hit "Stacy's Mom" from their 2003 album "Welcome Interstate Managers." Their discography includes six studio albums released between 1996 and 2011. Following Schlesinger's death in 2020, the remaining members reunited for a tribute and announced summer shows in 2025.
