The Four Tops are an American vocal group formed in Detroit in 1953. Original members Levi Stubbs, Abdul "Duke" Fakir, Renaldo "Obie" Benson, and Lawrence Payton remained together for over four decades. The group was known for hits like "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)" and "Reach Out I'll Be There". Their music blended elements of soul, R&B, and pop. The Four Tops were closely associated with the Holland-Dozier-Holland production team and helped define the "Motown sound". In 1990, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
