François-Xavier Poizat is a Swiss pianist of French and Chinese descent. He studied at the conservatories of Geneva and Hamburg, the Juilliard School in New York, and the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome under the guidance of teachers such as Alexeï Golovin, Evgeni Koroliov, Nelson Goerner, Matti Raekallio, and Benedetto Lupo. He has performed in 28 countries at venues including Victoria Hall in Geneva, Tonhalle in Zurich, Konzerthaus and Philharmonie in Berlin, Seoul Art Center, the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, and Carnegie Hall in New York. He has collaborated with orchestras such as the Philharmonia Orchestra in London, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, and Orchestre de la Suisse Italienne. In 2024, he released a 6-disc box set titled "Ravel: The Complete Works with Piano." The products available from the artist François-Xavier Poizat include CDs.
