Frankie Ford was an American rock and roll and rhythm and blues singer, best known for his 1959 hit "Sea Cruise," which reached number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold over one million copies. Born in Gretna, Louisiana, he was adopted by Vincent and Anna Guzzo. He began his music career at a young age, signing with Ace Records in the 1950s. Throughout his career, he released several albums, including "Let's Take a Sea Cruise with Frankie Ford" and "New Orleans Dynamo." In 2010, he was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.
