František Hrubín was a prominent Czech poet, prose writer, and playwright, renowned for his works for children. His oeuvre includes numerous fairy tales, some of which have been adapted into audio format. The CD "O Smolíčkovi" features three of his stories: "O Smolíčkovi" narrated by Eduard Cupák, "O oslí kůži" performed by Miroslav Moravec, and "O pavím králi" again with Eduard Cupák.
