Franz Koglmann is an Austrian jazz composer and trumpeter known for his contributions to avant-garde jazz and third stream music. He has collaborated with artists such as Paul Bley, Bill Dixon, and Lee Konitz. Notable albums include "Opium for Franz" (1977), "Ich" (1994), and "Let's Make Love" (2005). In 2003, he received the Hans Koller Prize for Album of the Year.
