Karim Kharbouch, known professionally as French Montana, is a Moroccan-American rapper. Born in Morocco, he moved to New York City at 13. He began his career as a battle rapper and later gained recognition with the Cocaine City DVD series. In 2012, he signed with Bad Boy Records and Maybach Music Group. His debut album, 'Excuse My French,' was released in 2013. In 2017, he released the single 'Unforgettable' featuring Swae Lee, which reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 and received diamond certification from the RIAA.
