Friendly Rich, born Richard Marsella, is a Canadian composer and musician from Brampton, Ontario. He earned a Master's degree in music from the University of Toronto and completed a PhD in music education in 2021. Since 1994, he has recorded exclusively for his own label, The Pumpkin Pie Corporation. His music was featured in three seasons of MTV's The Tom Green Show. In 2023, he released the album "Man Out of Time" under the We Are Busy Bodies label, which includes interpretations of Félix Leclerc's songs and his own compositions.
