Fu Manchu is an American stoner rock band formed in Orange County, California, in 1985. Originally starting as a hardcore punk band under the name Virulence, they later transitioned to stoner rock. Their debut album, "No One Rides for Free," was released in 1994. Notable albums include "Daredevil" (1995), "In Search of..." (1996), and "The Action Is Go" (1997). The band is known for lyrics about muscle cars, skateboarding, and science fiction themes. In 2024, they released their fourteenth album, "The Return of Tomorrow."
