Fujiya & Miyagi is a British group formed in Brighton in 2000. The current lineup consists of David Best (vocals and guitar), Stephen Lewis (synthesizers and vocals), Ed Chivers (drums), Ben Adamo, and Ben Farestuedt (bass and vocals). The band has released nine studio albums, including "Transparent Things" (2006), "Lightbulbs" (2008), and "Slight Variations" (2022). Their music blends elements of electronic, nu-disco, dance, and krautrock. The name "Fujiya & Miyagi" refers to the Japanese record player manufacturer Fujiya and the character Mr. Miyagi from the film Karate Kid.
