G. Love & Special Sauce is an American rock band from Philadelphia, known for their unique sound that blends blues, hip-hop, rock, and soul. The band consists of Garrett "G. Love" Dutton (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Jeffrey "The Houseman" Clemens (drums), and James "Jimi Jazz" Prescott (bass guitar). Their 1994 debut album features the hit "Cold Beverage," which gained popularity on MTV and contributed to the album achieving Gold certification from the RIAA. In 2024, they are celebrating the 30th anniversary of this album with a remastered and expanded edition, including 11 previously unreleased live recordings from a 1994 New York City performance.
