G-Unit was an American hip-hop group formed in 2001 in Queens, New York City, consisting of 50 Cent, Tony Yayo, and Lloyd Banks. In 2003, they were joined by Young Buck and later The Game. Their 2003 debut album, "Beg for Mercy," achieved double platinum certification. In 2008, they released their second album, "T·O·S (Terminate on Sight)." The group was known for their hardcore hip-hop and gangsta rap genres. After several lineup changes and hiatuses, they officially disbanded in 2022.
