Gabriele Poso is an Italian multi-instrumentalist and percussionist born in Lecce, Salento. He studied Afro-Cuban percussion at the "Timba" School Of Music in Rome and continued his education at the Universitad Interamericana De Puerto Rico and the Escuela National De Arte in Havana. In 2008, he released his debut album "From The Genuine World" under Yoruba Records. His other notable albums include "Roots Of Soul" (2012), "Invocation" (2014), and "Awakening" (2018). Poso is known for his unique blend of jazz, afrobeat, and world music, collaborating with artists such as Osunlade and Louie Vega.
