Gaby Hernandez is a Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter of Chilean descent. Active since 2001, she was a founding member of the group Build An Ark. She has released albums including "Sweet Starry Night" (2011) and "Spirit Reflection" (2017). Her music blends jazz, world music, and electronic elements. Hernandez has collaborated with artists such as Kamasi Washington, Carlos Niño, and Dexter Story. She was the sole vocalist on Teebs' debut album "Ardour" and contributed to albums by AmmonContact and The Life Force Trio. Her track "Canto de Iemanja" was featured on the Red Hot + Rio 2 compilation.
