Galactic Cowboys is an American heavy metal band from Houston, Texas, combining progressive metal with vocal styles influenced by The Beatles and the heavy playing style of thrash bands like Anthrax. The band was active from 1989 to 2000 and reunited in 2016. Notable albums include "Galactic Cowboys" (1991), "Space in Your Face" (1993), and "Long Way Back to the Moon" (2017). Although the members are Christians, they did not consider the band a Christian band. Throughout their career, they toured with bands such as Anthrax, Dream Theater, and King's X.
