Gallhammer was a Japanese extreme metal band formed in Tokyo in 2003. The group consisted of Vivian Slaughter (vocals, bass guitar), Risa Reaper (vocals, drums), and Mika Penetrator (vocals, guitar). Their music blended elements of black metal, doom metal, and crust punk. They released three studio albums: "Gloomy Lights" (2004), "Ill Innocence" (2007), and "The End" (2011). After guitarist Mika Penetrator's departure in 2010, they continued as a duo. The band was influenced by acts like Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, and Amebix. Gallhammer disbanded in 2013.
