Gengahr is an English indie rock band formed in 2013 at Stoke Newington School in Hackney, London. Originally known as RES, they changed their name to Gengahr, a play on Gengar, one of the original Pokémon. Their debut album, "A Dream Outside," was released on June 15, 2015, receiving positive reviews. This was followed by "Where Wildness Grows" (2018), "Sanctuary" (2020), and "Red Sun Titans" (2023). The band is known for blending dream pop, indie rock, and psychedelic rock. Their first single, "Fill My Gums With Blood," was featured on BBC Radio 1, leading to a performance at the Glastonbury Festival in 2014.
