The George Adams Quintet was an American jazz ensemble led by tenor saxophonist George Adams. In December 1979, they recorded the album "Paradise Space Shuttle" at Sound Ideas Studio in New York City. The album features tracks such as "Intentions," "Send In The Clowns," and "Metamorphosis For Mingus." The group comprised George Adams on tenor saxophone, Ron Burton on piano, Don Pate on bass guitar, Al Foster on drums, and Azzedin Weston on percussion.
