George Braith is an American soul-jazz saxophonist known for playing multiple instruments simultaneously, a technique pioneered by Roland Kirk. He invented the Braithophone, a combination of alto and soprano saxophones. His notable albums include "Two Souls in One" (1963), "Soul Stream" (1964), and "Extension" (1967). He collaborated with musicians such as Grant Green and Billy Gardner. Braith is featured in a mosaic at the 72nd Street station of the Second Avenue Subway in New York City.
