George Dekker, born Canic Agard in 1946 in Jamaica, is a prominent reggae artist known for his work with The Pioneers. The group achieved international success in the 1960s and 1970s with hits like "Long Shot Kick The Bucket". In addition to his work with the group, Dekker released solo tracks including "Foey Man", "Nosey Parker", "Time Hard", and "Try Love". He collaborated with producers such as Leslie Kong, Bunny Lee, and Joe Gibbs. In 2024, he released the solo album "Right To Be Here" in collaboration with producers Mafia and Fluxy.
