Géraldine Laurent is a French jazz alto saxophonist born in 1975 in Niort. She studied classical piano before switching to the alto saxophone at age 13. In 1999, she moved to Paris and began performing with various groups. In 2007, she released her debut album "Time Out Trio" under the Dreyfus Jazz label. This was followed by "Around Gigi" (2010), "At Work" (2015), and "Cooking" (2019). In 2020, she won the Victoires du Jazz award for Best Album of the Year for "Cooking".
