Ginger Baker was an English drummer known for his pioneering style that fused jazz and African rhythms. In the 1960s, he was a member of Blues Incorporated and the Graham Bond Organisation, collaborating with bassist Jack Bruce. In 1966, along with Bruce and guitarist Eric Clapton, he formed the band Cream, achieving international success. After Cream disbanded, he joined Blind Faith and later led his own group, Ginger Baker's Air Force. In the 1970s, he lived in Africa and collaborated with Fela Kuti. His 1986 album "Horses & Trees" is an instrumental work focusing on jazz fusion and African rhythms.
