empty cell Girl
Girl was a British hard rock band formed in 1979, consisting of vocalist Phil Lewis, guitarists Gerry Laffy and Phil Collen, later joined by Gerry's brother Simon on bass. The band signed with Jet Records and released their debut album "Sheer Greed" in 1980, which reached the Top 40. Their music combined raw energy with a punk-like edge. In 1982, the band disbanded after releasing their second album "Wasted Youth". Phil Collen joined Def Leppard, while Phil Lewis became a member of L.A. Guns. In 2019, a two-disc set was released, featuring "Sheer Greed" and a live performance from Osaka in 1982. The products available from the artist Girl include CDs.
