Girl and Girl is an Australian rock band from Brisbane, consisting of vocalist and guitarist Kai James, his aunt Melissa James (known as Aunty Liss) on drums, guitarist Jayden Williams, and bassist Fraser Bell. Formed in 2020 on the Gold Coast, the band signed with Sub Pop in 2023. Their debut album, "Call A Doctor," was released on May 24, 2024. Known for their energetic garage rock sound and intense live performances, they won the inaugural Gold Coast Music Prize in 2022 and have performed at festivals such as The Great Escape and Wide Awake Festival.
