girlpuppy is the stage name of American indie rock singer-songwriter Rebecca Alexis Harvey from Atlanta, Georgia. She began her career in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. That same year, she signed with Royal Mountain Records and released her debut EP "Swan" on August 20, 2021, produced by Marshall Vore. In July 2022, she announced her debut album "When I'm Alone," which was released on October 28, 2022. In December 2024, she signed with Captured Tracks and released the single "Champ" as a lead-up to her second album "Sweetness." Her music is often compared to that of Phoebe Bridgers.
