Girls in Hawaii is a Belgian indie pop band formed in 2000 in Braine-l'Alleud. The original lineup included Antoine Wielemans, Lionel Vancauwenberghe, Brice Vancauwenberghe, Denis Wielemans, Christophe Léonard, and Daniel Offermann. Their debut album, "From Here To There," was released in 2003 and received acclaim across Europe. Subsequent albums include "Plan Your Escape" (2008), "Everest" (2013), and "Nocturne" (2017). In 2010, drummer Denis Wielemans tragically died in a car accident. The band is known for its indie pop and indie rock sound and continues to perform actively across Europe.
