Godley & Creme were an English rock duo formed in Manchester in 1977 by Kevin Godley and Lol Creme after leaving the band 10cc. Their debut album, "Consequences" (1977), was a triple album combining music with dramatic elements. Notable tracks include "An Englishman in New York," "Cry," and "Under Your Thumb." Beyond music, they gained recognition as innovative directors of music videos for artists such as The Police, Duran Duran, and Herbie Hancock. The duo ended their collaboration in the late 1980s.
