Goldfrapp was an English electronic music duo from London, formed in 1999 by Alison Goldfrapp (vocals, synthesizer) and Will Gregory (synthesizer). Their debut album, "Felt Mountain" (2000), received a Mercury Prize nomination. Subsequent albums "Black Cherry" (2003) and "Supernature" (2005) featured hits like "Strict Machine" and "Ooh La La". In 2004, they won an Ivor Novello Award for "Strict Machine". Their musical style encompassed synth-pop, electroclash, trip hop, and folktronica. The duo has been on indefinite hiatus since 2022.
