Goldie & the Gingerbreads was an American all-female rock band formed in New York City in 1962. The group consisted of vocalist Genya "Goldie" Zelkowitz (later known as Genya Ravan), drummer Ginger Bianco, keyboardist Margo Lewis, and guitarist Carol MacDonald. They were the first all-female rock band signed to a major record label, initially with Decca Records in 1963 and later with Atlantic Records in 1964. During their career, they released several singles, including "Can't You Hear My Heartbeat," which reached number 25 on the UK Singles Chart. The band disbanded in 1968, but their complete recordings from 1964–1966 were released in 2021 under the title "Thinking About the Good Times: Complete Recordings 1964–1966."
