Good Flying Birds is a jangly, noisy guitar-pop group from the American Midwest. The project began in December 2023 under the name "Talulah God" with 4-track cassette recordings and stop-motion videos on YouTube. In January 2025, they released "Talulah's Tape" on Rotten Apple, a compilation of home recordings from 2020–2024, which gained recognition in underground circles. The band is characterized by a lo-fi sound influenced by groups like Guided By Voices and Beat Happening. In October 2025, they plan to release "Talulah's Tape" on vinyl and streaming platforms under the Carpark and Smoking Room labels.
