Gorod is a French technical death metal band from Bordeaux, formed in 1997. Originally known as Gorgasm, they changed their name to Gorod in 2005 to avoid confusion with an American band of the same name. Their debut album, "Neurotripsicks," was released in 2004, followed by "Leading Vision" (2006), "Process of a New Decline" (2009), and "A Perfect Absolution" (2012). The band is known for their progressive approach to death metal, incorporating elements of jazz and funk. Gorod regularly tours worldwide, including Europe, North America, Japan, and Southeast Asia.
