Got the Beat is a South Korean female supergroup formed by SM Entertainment in 2022. The group consists of seven members: BoA, Taeyeon and Hyoyeon from Girls' Generation, Seulgi and Wendy from Red Velvet, and Karina and Winter from aespa. Their debut single, "Step Back," was released on January 3, 2022, achieving success on South Korean music charts. In January 2023, they released their first mini-album, "Stamp On It." Got the Beat is the first sub-unit of SM Entertainment's Girls On Top project, which brings together various female artists from their roster.
