Graham Parker & The Rumour is a British rock band formed in 1976 in London. Their debut album, "Howlin' Wind," was released in April 1976 to widespread critical acclaim. This was followed by "Heat Treatment" (1976) and "Stick to Me" (1977). In 1979, they released "Squeezing Out Sparks," which was voted album of the year in The Village Voice's Pazz & Jop critics' poll. Their music blends elements of rock, R&B, and new wave.
