Great American Canyon Band is an indie folk group from Baltimore, Maryland, formed by husband and wife duo Paul and Kris Masson. After meeting in Baltimore, they spent several years traveling across the United States, during which they began crafting their first songs. Their music blends harmony-rich rock with elements of psychedelic "shoegaze" and a production approach reminiscent of Phil Spector. In 2012, they released their debut EP, which received positive feedback from outlets like NPR and Stereogum. In 2016, they released their first full-length album, "Only You Remain," under Six Degrees Records.
