Great Master is an Italian power metal band formed in 1993 by guitarist Jahn Carlini in Venice. Their debut album, "Underworld," was released in 2009 under the Underground Symphony label. This was followed by "Serenissima" (2012), "Lion and Queen" (2016), and "Skull and Bones - Tales from Over the Seas" (2019). In 2021, they released "Thy Harbour Inn," an album featuring reinterpretations of traditional sea shanties. Their latest album, "Montecristo," released in 2023, is a concept work inspired by Alexandre Dumas' novel "The Count of Monte Cristo." The band is known for its epic and melodic approach to power metal.
