Green on Red was an American rock band formed in 1979 in Tucson, Arizona. Originally known as The Serfers, the band relocated to Los Angeles in 1980 and changed their name to Green on Red. Their debut album, "Gravity Talks," was released in 1983 under Slash Records. Associated with the Paisley Underground movement, their music blended elements of alternative rock, neo-psychedelia, and country rock. Notable albums include "Gas Food Lodging" (1985) and "The Killer Inside Me" (1987). The band disbanded in 1992 but briefly reunited in 2005-2006.
