Günter Werno is a German keyboardist best known as a member of the progressive metal band Vanden Plas. In March 2023, he released the album "Anima One," showcasing a fusion of classical music and progressive rock. This project was recorded live with the Pfalzphilharmonie Kaiserslautern orchestra and comprises three main movements: "Animabilis," "Animosus," and "Animato." The album was released under the Frontiers Music Srl label. Werno is recognized for his skills in orchestration and composition, which are evident in this work.
