Guided by Voices is an American indie rock band formed in 1983 in Dayton, Ohio. They are known for their lo-fi sound and frequent lineup changes, with frontman Robert Pollard leading the band. Notable albums include "Bee Thousand" (1994) and "Alien Lanes" (1995), which have become cult classics in alternative music. The band is acclaimed for its prolific discography with dozens of albums.
