Guy Davis is an American blues musician, actor, and author. He has released fifteen albums, including "Stomp Down Rider" (1995) and "Be Ready When I Call You" (2021). Davis has been twice nominated for a Grammy Award in the "Best Traditional Blues Album" category for "Sonny & Brownie's Last Train" (2017) and "Be Ready When I Call You" (2021). He has performed with artists such as Pete Seeger, Bruce Springsteen, and Taj Mahal. In addition to music, he has pursued acting, including a role in the Broadway play "Mulebone" in 1991.
