Hammock is an American ambient post-rock duo from Nashville, Tennessee, consisting of Marc Byrd and Andrew Thompson. Since their formation in 2003, they have released 14 studio albums, including "Kenotic" (2005), "Raising Your Voice... Trying to Stop an Echo" (2006), "Chasing After Shadows... Living with the Ghosts" (2010), and "Departure Songs" (2012). Their music blends elements of ambient, post-rock, and shoegaze, creating a unique sound. Hammock has collaborated with artists such as Steve Kilbey and Tim Powles of The Church, and their tracks have been featured in various media.
