Herbert Clayton "Hank" Penny (September 18, 1918 – April 17, 1992) was an American musician and comedian known for his work in the western swing genre. In the 1930s, he led the Radio Cowboys, and during World War II, he formed the Plantation Boys. His song "Bloodshot Eyes" became a hit when recorded by Wynonie Harris in 1951. Penny was married to singer Sue Thompson from 1953 to 1963. He died in 1992 of heart failure at his Southern California home. The products available from the artist Hank Penny include CDs.
