Hans Dulfer is a Dutch jazz saxophonist born on May 28, 1940, in Amsterdam. He began his musical career in 1957 as a self-taught tenor saxophonist. In the 1960s, he formed a quartet with organist Herbert Noord, focusing on saxophone-organ funk. His debut album, "The Morning After the Third," was released in 1970. In the 1990s, he achieved international success with the album "Big Boy" (1994), which featured the hit "Streetbeats." This success led to popularity in Japan, where his album "Hyperbeat" became the best-selling instrumental album of the year.
