Happy the Man is an American progressive rock band formed in 1973 in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The band released two studio albums: "Happy the Man" (1977) and "Crafty Hands" (1978). Their music is known for complex instrumental arrangements and a blend of progressive rock with jazz elements. In 1979, the band disbanded but reunited in 2000, releasing "The Muse Awakens" in 2004. They are considered a significant representative of 1970s American progressive rock.
